Chaplain Nick Twomey
Nick and Rose Twomey live in Traverse City, MI. They married in August, 1979, and they are the proud parents to two grown children and eight grandchildren. Nick received his BA from Hope College in Holland MI, and his Master's and Doctorate from Western Theological Seminary, also in Holland, MI. Nick and Rose served two large churches over four decades, and Nick stepped down from pastoring in 2016 to work full-time as an advancement officer with Biglife, a global disciple-making movement.
Nick and Rose love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and spending time on the water. They are excited to be serving on the chapel team at Sky Valley Resort.
Bruce Carroll
Bruce Carroll is a multi-Grammy and multi-Dove award-winning singer/songwriter, recording artist and worship leader. He’s been twice nominated for songwriter of the year by the Gospel Music Association and has been inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. Bruce has served as a fulltime worship director on 2 large church staffs and has consulted for several others. Bruce currently serves on the chapel team at Sky Valley Resort in Desert Hot Springs CA from November through April every season. Bruce and his wife Nikki reside in Cordova TN the other 6 months of the year.
Bruce and Nikki married in 1982 and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren together. They love to travel, minister together and spend time with family. Bruce continues to write and record.

Cindee Gray
Cindee Gray returned to SVM as Administrator after serving on the chapel team as Finance Manager in 2020 & 2021.
Cindee's significant business experience in public, private, nonprofit, and academic organizations led her to a career as a Business Consultant which has kept her very busy in the last eight years. Prior to that, Cindee spent many years in the medical field of academic research at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. There she used her leadership, planning, operational, financial and change management skills to rebuild and restructure two large departments/institutions to become thriving organizations.
A graduate of Portland State University, Cindee also attended two years at Multnomah School of the Bible and one year at Academy One Finishing School.
Currently, Cindee lives in Sky Valley full time. In her spare time, she loves to write, speak, sing, travel, interior design and hike. But her greatest desire is to be available in whatever capacity God calls her to, whether writing, speaking, or using her business skills, her desire to share the gospel and advance the Kingdom remains close to her heart.
Perrie Horst
Perrie Horst has been part of the SVM team as Pastoral Care Chaplain since 2019. Perrie attended Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University/Seminary) for her under graduate and Trinity Western Seminary for her Masters. She continued on to the Clinical Pastoral Education program which prepared her for Hospital Chaplaincy/Ordination at Fracer Health where she served 28 years. Prior to that she served eight years on Pastoral Staff and right after Bible College she served as the Religious Education Teacher in the Public School system in Ontario, Canada.
Perrie is married to Karl and they live in Abbotsford, B.C. They enjoy travel, family events, fishing and life in Sky Valley where they are involved with Foundation For His Ministry. They have three daughters, five grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
