50Th Anniversary

Our 50th Anniversary Party began 32 years ago as a way to celebrate all couples who have been married for 50 years or more. Back in the day there were over 100 couples. The local newspaper used to come out and take pictures as being married for 50 year is something to be celebrated! Many people outside the Resort used to inquire about it and want to participate in the celebration but we had to turn people away as it was only opened to people inside the resort. In those days, there was a meal and a program. Over the years, the numbers have decreased but we still love to celebrate long lasting marriages.
